Automotive design and jewelry come together for the season finale of the all-electric FIA Formula E World Championship

As the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship comes to an end with its final two races in London, NISMO has partnered with independent jewelry studio LOUD MOUTH LDN to create a one-off collection of bespoke grillz. Inspired by some of Nissan's most iconic performance cars, the collection draws on the city's rich music and fashion scene.

Traditionally worn over the teeth as a form of self-expression, grillz first emerged in hip-hop culture in the United States before becoming part of London's contemporary music and fashion scene. Ahead of Formula E's return to one of the world's most influential cultural capitals, they provide an unexpected way to connect NISMO's design heritage with a different form of creativity.

Drawing inspiration from vehicles including the Nissan Formula E GEN3 Evo race car, the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, the R34 Pennzoil, and the Z GT500, the four-piece collection reimagines signature design elements from Nissan's most iconic models through a new creative medium, exploring the intersection between automotive design, jewelry and contemporary culture.

The collection has been handcrafted by LOUD MOUTH LDN, an independent specialist jewelry studio based in Holdrons Arcade, Peckham's self-proclaimed ‘corridor of wonders and esoteric delights,’ in South-East London. The company has become a go-to name for custom grillz, producing bespoke pieces for high-profile artists and building a reputation at the heart of the city's creative scene.

Speaking on Grillz and the collaboration, Reece Garcia, Founder & Director of LOUD MOUTH LDN commented: “This collaboration was something completely different for us. We enjoy pushing ourselves creatively, and it was a chance to take what we normally do and apply it to a totally different world. Grillz are one of the only pieces of jewellery that are completely built around the individual, giving people a really unique way to express who they are. For this project, rather than starting with letters or logos, we looked at the shapes and details of the cars and translated them into something that works as jewellery. That's something we'll definitely keep exploring in future projects.”

The designs will go on display at the Westfield shopping center in Stratford, East London, before moving to ExCeL London, where the Formula E season finale will take place. Fans attending the event will also have the chance to win a bespoke piece designed and handcrafted by LOUD MOUTH LDN.
